The hotel is situated right in the Přemysl Otakar II square, in the Dvořák shopping gallery. The historic core of České Budějovice was declared a city heritage reservation in 1980. The centre has conserved a ragular layout with a square-shaped square with dimensions 133x133 m, one of the largest squares in Bohemia, with arcades and a number of gotic, renaissance and baroque bargess houses.
